I just traded my 2010 CC 2x4 1500 6.2 with 3.42 gears. It had 26,000 on the clock and I averaged 17.1 mpg. That is alot of highway miles but I normally have a bed full of stuff also. I just got a new 2011 CC 1500 2x4 with 3.73 gears 2 weeks ago and now I'm getting about 15.7 mpg. Truck turned 2K miles today. My old truck had a tune and magnaflow muffler. This truck is stock now but I definaltely will be getting a tune. I will not do the muffler again because of the cab noise.

eh......i can't really comment bc i dont have a 6spd
i have a cammed 6.2 with a 3600 converter and 4:10s. 70mph i turn 2100ish rpm and still get 19ish on the highway. in city is 14.5ish since the loose converter but when i had the 3200 it would get 15ish with easy driving.
at 125mph for 5 min i get 3mpg lol

18 to 20 on the highway and 14 to 15 in the city. Drove from Big Bear Lake
CA to Vegas and averaged 20.3. I did not think this 1/2 ton 4X4 would get that kind of mpg. This summer I towed a Corvette on a flat trailer and got 14 mpg at 70 mph. I can make it use more when I am having fun
. Very happy with the 6.2 VVT.
