I ended up doing mine too; just slipped a short 3.5-inch Cherry Bomb glasspack and some 3.5-inch stock in place of the huge factory muff; sounds great! I left everything else stock from the manifolds to the exhaust tip, other than rotating the pipes between the factory band clamp and the muff to make it straight-in, straight-out for the glasspack

 

Well it has been a long time and I haven't delivered. My friend that has a quality digital camcorder is out of state and I was out of state for a few weeks so I went ahead and made a quick startup then idle down vid with my phone, so it is a bit low quality.

I will make another tomorrow. When I put the camera down that is what I was going to do, but realized I was probably going over length for my phone. Free revving it doesn't sound nearly as good as it does under load though.

Here is a sample of the cab noise. I was accelerating JUST barely hard enough to make it audible inside the cab. If you drive like a grandma you it will remain nearly as quiet on acceleration as it does at a cruise:

I have a 2011 6.2 Silverado with OBX LTs and a Gibson catback. Truth be told, I am not really too fond of the way it sounds. Its really raspy and crazy loud. No cats. I think I may start looking for a different muffler.
