whats the average 6.2 owner getting out of their trucks 2/4wd either way. trying to figure out of mine is a happy 6.2 or not.

i got bored and dynoed today. 361/373. kooks LT {1 7/8's} catted 3in ypipe, k&n drop in, magnaflow muffler, 90% finished tune.

i've thought about doing a cam. then the stall comes into play. then a built trans. it's all downhill from here. the cai thing. i have yet to see anything worthwhile honestly. still pulling air from the same spot as the stock air box. i may change the tube itself.

i spent enough time on the rollers to figure out what it likes for timing/max timing and afr. the dyno was done in 3rd gear with the convertor unlocked

yeah the CAI market is crap. i made my own and it works great. im running a 4" CAI vs the 3 or 3.5" they sell.

i only made 5-6 passes i cant recall it was pretty dead on. i have a few things i want to try before i go all out on a new toy.

Those are good numbers.
I beleive that would equate to about 450crank hp with a 20 % driveline loss.
My truck has basically the same mods and feels like about that power.
The thing about a good tune is transmission response and tm removal
can improve performance dramatically as well.

son of a mother, that's pretty impressive.. I think 4th gear would be a better gear to dyno in... since its a 1.15, but you probably would be doing like 130 with 3.42s.

I wish mine would have came with r
3.73s.... first gear is strong but the others could use a lil more help. how much TM did you remove and how big of a difference did it make?
