Im going to soon be coming into an 07 5.3 to swap into my truck i plan to run a cam of some sort.. like a vinci trucker cam or something, mill the heads, lifter replacement and maybe some mild head porting..

Headers are next but that may be a lil while..

What sort of power can one expect to get out of setup like this.. I want it to rattle windows when it is running (just the thought of having such a new truck that sounds like a stockcar makes me laugh)


But i want to run it at the 1/4 a few times.. as soon as im sure it is dependable, cant run the meano there because that T5 is a glass transmission..

Ideas on power and 1/4 times, im sure there has to be a few 5.3 rcsb 2wds on here with full bolt ons and a cam..

BTW i am full weight and have 4l60 and 3.73s on 245/70R17s..
