Default 5.3 to ly6 6.0 swap!

I found a ly6 with 50k on it for 1300 out of a 08 van is this a good price? What power does this motor put out stock and is it a good platform for 400+ hp at the crank with a few bolt ons? Anyone know what heads come on it im wondering if ill need a l92 intake?

Buy it, delete vvt and cam it & get an ls7 T/B for faster t/b response. It will drop right in, I would get a 40k cooler if you dont have it already.

Put 5.3 in trash can no replacement for displacement. Great stock for stock swap and if you have cash change cams.

To be clear is it possible to keep the stock vvt cam in the ly6? Is there another connector on the ly6 timming cover that my wire harness dosen't have for the cam advance?
