5.3 to 6.0 ???

Default 5.3 to 6.0 ???

well i was gonna cam my 5.3 but the i was thinking it would be better just to put a 6.0 lol can i fit any 6.0 in there (direct swap)like an lq4 or lq9..or does it have to be the new 6.0 from the 07 and up...

you have to get a LY6 or a L76
swap the front cover, timing gear, cam bolt over from your 5.3. you have to get the intake too

What about exhaust mods? Do the cats on the newer 5.3's flow enough for that 6.0L?

yeah buddy but why worry with the cats? throw a set of LTs/OR-y on there

everything from your 5.3 will swap over just not your intake bc the heads are different.

If your budget doesn't allow for lt's or an ORY depending on how you drive they will be fine. Stock cats will flow fine for daily driver duties but there are sizable gains to be made by LT's and changing them in the future. You will need an 07+ 6.0 due to changes in the crank sensor reluctor wheel and changes in the cam sensor.

i already got LT headers but i didnt go with a y pipe i went dual 3 inch pipes from the headers all the way to the back..and for exhaust i have a magnaflow 2in 2 out with an x pipe built in it supposebly lol

thats good enough man just gotta run a 2007+ gmt900 motor (LY6/L76)
