Ive read here that Pacesetter wont fit the 4WD, but went to speed-eng.com and it says it will fit 4wd/2wd (2007.5+)??? it must be a mistake...!?

I have an 09 GMC RCSB 4X4, 5.3, 4.10s, and installed American Racing Headers and high flow cats with Y-pipe before it had 500 miles on it. They are super high quality stainless and fit like a glove, but are pricey.
HOWEVER, GM changed the exhaust in 09 and they now have 3 cats, a braided flex pipe and a slip-fit connector to the factory cat-back.
07-08 headers WILL NOT bolt up to the factory cat-back or an 09-10 spec aftermarket cat-back without some fabrication.
To solve this problem on 09-10 trucks you simply have to buy 07-08 headers and an 07-08 aftermarket cat-back system and install them at the same time. This is what I did and they bolt together perfectly and all the hangers etc. are the same.
I went with the Magnaflow full polished stainless catback with dual exits and it is very loud. Much louder than my 2000 5.3 with headers and Flowmaster 50 series, but my neighbors have gotten used to it.
