I'm tempted to re-install the factory shackle hangers, but I don't know if that would drop it another inch or two inches. Before I began the project, I decided I could live with a minimum of 2" of compression of rear suspension til it hits the bumpstops. I guess I could always remove the 1.5" tall bumps that come with the DJM kit and replace with lower profile bumpstops to gain back some suspension travel...
If I did drop the rear another inch, I'd have to re-disassemble the front struts to match the extra inch drop, and I had a hell of a time with those!

nice. my truck is like yours only the chevy wt/ls version. i wanted to run mine at the track to see how it hooks stock and it did well. so im torn on lowering it and getting wheel hop or somethin like that. ive seen alota guys running caltracs with lowered trucks also.
