Default 2013 GMC EXT CAB 6.2 1/8 times tonight

Guy's took my Gmc ext cab 2wd 6.2 to the track tonight and ran a best of 9.62 in the 1/8 stock other than the flowmaster that came on it which I think is actually hurting it,not bragging about it just seeing how it adds up to other times in the 1/8 now time for a cai, exhaust and a tune!THANKS!

My best ever, on E85 with a BB tune and no other mods, is 9.22 on the way to a 14.3 quarter mile. Stock and on E10 premium gas I was at 9.85.

The comparison isn't perfect, because I'm a heavy-*** 4x4.

Have fun!

Bone stock in my CCSB 4x4 was 9.50. Then after a 93 tune with HP tuners I ran a 9.02. Haven't been back since I installed the vararam intake, but my brothers ran a 8.90 with just a tune as well. After I installed the intake I outran him by a truck length...but our air may be different from yours! Good luck in the process of "going faster!"

How bad was traction? I've never launched mine in 2wd on the street "pointless", but with the number you ran it seems like the track was prepped pretty good.

Mine is still stock so definitely in for results. I'd say the flowmaster is hurting a little, I've never had any luck with chambered mufflers v/s straight through designs. What wheels are on yours? A buddy took the 20's off his 5.3 truck and went to 17's and picked up .16! We checked and there was a 9lb difference in wheels. 36 lbs of rotating weight hurts a good bit.

Got the exhaust done,it's a stock muffler just cut the resonator off the back but it was bitch because they changed the dam hangers around when the flomaster was on it,put the cold air kit on bought a afe and just got tuned about a hour ago, truck feels a lot better was headed to the track and it started flooding,oh well may be next week.THANKS!
