Lightbulb 2012 regular cab 5.3 performance ?
Just lookin make this thing fast ? Best upgrades for buck ? Supercharged or turbo ? Be very happy get into the 12s

If it were me, just throw in a cam, full exhaust and hit it with a 100 shot.
I have a friends truck that I put a kit on and tuned and it went 12.4 on a 100 shot and thats in a extended cab.Now waiting on new times with more juice

Lightweight and good power and can make go faster pretty easy.


I have toyed around with the idea of getting rid of my CC 6.2 and picking up a RCSB with the 5.3 and swapping my Procharger over...

Or go N/A I've seen 2 nnbs 5.3s with head work cam headers all the bolt on goodies put down over 420rwhp combined with iamkeniff's suggestion that's low 12s easy

Buy the 5.3 RCSB first, bring both trucks to me for a week, then sell the CCSB.

wife has 7 seats in her Explorer. I don't "need" a CC...
