ok guys, im wanting the color matched front bumper for my 2011 silverado. Ill be buying the color matched gm grille soon, but i want the color matched bumper also. truck is blue granite metallic. ive searched and searched, i saw a new sz71 at the dealership with the color matched grille and bumper, looked great. Should i stop buy the dealership and get a vin off a z71 with the color matched front, then go to the parts dept. and have them look it up?? hearing to many horror stories of chrome bumpers that were painted.

Yea, you're going to find the paintable version, they don't come painted. Thats what I got when I got an 09+ bumper bar on my 08.
