I know it's Fleabay but would this be a good choice for gears? CHEVY GM 8.5" 10-Bolt Gears 4.10 / 4.11 Ratio & Master Bearing / Install Kit NEW

I don't even see the brand of the gears or bearings. I would suggest Ron's Machine. He used to be a vendor on here but not sure if he still is.

I looked at it on my phone and I thought they were GM but I see now that they are not... I will checkout the other link. Thanks KC-kid.

Anyone in this thread do a gear swap on a 6.2L truck? A few people talked about it but I'm not sure I read that anyone did it.

I've been juggling the idea of going to 4.10s in my truck for a while and think this thread might be the tipping point for me but I'd like to hear from someone who's done it.

Current setup: '12 1500 6.2, 6L80, 3.42s, and 33" all terrains on factory 20"s with long tubes, magnaflow, intake tube, and a tune. I usually cruise between 70-75mph and I know it could use a few more rpm to make the engine happier. I'm currently getting 16mpg highway and 12-13mpg in town and about 14 combined. I know most of that is due to my heavy foot and my 2" level kit. If it could improve with gears I'm all for it plus the added responsiveness.
