Ordered some Speed Engineering long tubes and Y. Should compliment the Corsa Sport nicely.

It was one of those "while I'm in there" purchases.

I went with obx long tubes. I removed the exhaust manifold. Removing the front driveshaft allowed me to access the engine mount extremely easy. The obx kit fit awesome. Make sure you use locktite the locknuts didn't work very well and after two weeks they came apart. Also buy some O2 sensor plugs. The obx kit comes with 3 O2 sensor bungs on each side. Because the y pipe fits both awd and 2wd. I had issues with one bolt on the y pipe so It took me a little longer but all in all to install the kit, new plugs, and install headers I finished around 3hrs. That was with a lift. If you remove the drive shaft it will come out but you'll have to pry it out of pinion, push towards the engine mount, slide it back towards the frame. Before you put it back grease up the splines so it will slide back in

Good tips, good tips. I appreciate it. This is my first time doing anything like this to the Escalade. I'm ridiculously well versed in FBody though.

I'm not gonna lie, pulling anything from the SUV is a bit intimidating strictly for the fact that I've never worked on one before.

Good tip on this. Best priced headers I have seen.

What blew me away was the customer service. Sean was great to talk to and deal with, all while "keeping it real" and not acting like he wanted to make a sale. Car guys wanna talk to car guys... Good stuff.

I've kept my eye out for an LSA SC. It's either that or a Maggie 2300 for me. I do wonder how the AWD stuff would react to the power though. I had a 2004 Escalade before, and they were notorious for the front diff just eating itself alive.

I'm a big fan of a kit though that leaves no guess work, unless there's s thread alive that says you need this and that.

Finally!!

I just got off the phone with Prothane. They've got motor mounts in testing right now which would be available to us all here in about 2 months max

Dammit! Lol I've been waiting for poly mounts. Lol
As far as the front diff I'm going to look into what I can do help keep it from coming apart. It helps that i own my own shop and I do like to fabricate in my free time. The other thing I'm looking at is having my driveshaft guy custom make me some billet half shafts. My worry is the diff and the hubs. I also need to find some poly mounts for the diff to reduce movement.

Plug wires, plugs, motor mounts and trans mount are all here.

Just waiting on the headers and Y to show up and I'll be knocking this out.
