i put them on my truck, skoal bandit has them on his truck, skipperdaddy has them on his truck. i took mine off bc i put a 4/7 kit on it.

i towed my wt an hour to my house with no problems. fitment is great

Good enough for me.
I'll buy them on my lunch break and get them installed on friday.
Any secrets on installing them? No surprises to run into?

you gotta take your hitch off and trim or bend the bed pinch weld above the shackle.

My trailer hitch is welded to the frame from the factory. Believe all trucks with the hd trailering package does.

I read that was only for the 08'

So... Take your hitch off just for installation? If so that's cool. I couldn't imagine a reason to leave it off completely.

the way GM put the bolts is stupid imho. they put the nuts out to the bed and the bolt in from the frame. if you were to "flip" them over you'd have to trim the bolts down or it's going to hit the frame and hitch

isn't yours welded to your truck?
I've been under there and it's all one piece on mine.
Ohhhh yours is an 08 too.

I read online it's only the 08's
