I am thinking about putting on 2" drop shackles and taking out the spacer and I was wondering if the 13-4100 shackles from autozone would fit on my 2010 GMC Sierra. Sorry I'm new to this lowering stuff!

I'm not sure on that.

I got my DJM shackles from Cutten Customs for $50.

I bought some Mcaughys off ebay for 40.00 with free shipping. Works great. Rides better imo.

I just wanted to point out that the 13-4100 part# shackles are made in China. My local Pep Boys has those alongside a set of Ground Force shackles and the difference in quality of manufacture is very noticable. Not only do the Ground Force welds look to be better quality, they're welded inside and out, whereas the cheap ones are welded only on the outside. GF powdercoats theirs too, as opposed to painted steel from China.

Bringing this back up.. When you remove the rear blocks, do you need different U bolts or are there enough threads to put it back together without 1" block in there?

There are not enough threads. You can replace the bolts or use spacers.

I used the shorter U-bolts when ditching the blocks for a stealthy OE undercarriage appearance ha..
