Looks clean man. Tastefully done. 2/3 sits right

still could pull the overload spring too for a 2/4...

truck sits PERFECT.

I am looking into a 12 silvy 4x4...any writeups on doing the suspension...

I dropped my 09 TBSS with new fron A-ARMS and belltech struts in the front, then swapped for coilovers and just adjust the rear airbags, so I have some suspension work experience.

I read this thread, still unclear on the best option for ride quality and best place to get the parts...any links/recommendations?

I did spindles so I could keep the stock shocks. The truck rides like stock and corners better. Im thinking I should have gone with Belltech lowering struts. It mite of road better. I put a set of the ones on ebay with the grease zurks but any lowering shackle will do

i have 2" shackles for my truck, and i've already removed the rear block. so if i remove the overload leaf i can get another inch of drop? it looks like it would only give a very small drop, like not even noticeable.

To be honest. the 2'' shackles don't lower it two inches because the point the lowering takes place isn't over the axle. the block does give a true drop of it thickness. the removal of the overload varies based on chassis... due to weight differences. but averages 1''

i was looking for a 2/3 or a 2/4 drop overall. i have a box of parts i have not installed yet, i have the belltech drop struts, and 2" shackles. would i be better off with the 3" shackles? all the descriptions i have seen for 3" shackles say that the 3" drop is achieved by removing the rear block, which i already did.

3" shackles don't exist, there isn't enough room for it too.

there are kits though from belltech that provide the 2" shackles and spacers for the u-bolts so you can pull the block for a total of 3" drop... that's probably what you're referring to.
