im 14.4 you got better gears an your camming that thing youll be deep in the 13s

 

Just trying to see how many people tried it. I know most people just drop a 6.2 in it but my funds are lacking!!

 

not lacking, just dont see a point in spending 5k on FI or 4k on a cammed/milled head 6.2 :x

 

Pretty standard stuff oughta get ya there.

It wasn't a NNBS but when I had my 04 GMC Sierra CC, 5.3/4-speed, I was running 14.2's in hot weather. I would have been real close to 13's in cooler weather, and one or 2 mods from being there all the time. It was just basic bolt-ons, LT's mild cam, 2500 stall, 3.90's etc....

what gave you the best gain?
