Nice build man. How much longer do you think it will take you to finish this build. What kind of numbers you thing this thing will make?

Yeah Im from Ky. Elizabethtown to be exact. Lucky thing.. Since from what Ive read from some other tunes bluecats method of tunings is the only way to get past some of the sticking points others are having. What better than have the guy who made the method tune it I say...

Yeah.. The TCM and PCM have different vins on them.. So I guess it will be a PITA... Awesome...

Im not on any other boards that I know of...

I am hoping that the truck is done in a few weeks so.. Shotting for tuned and running in Feb.. Which is also my birthday! But it could be sooner depends on how it all goes. Hoping to make in the mid 6s to rear wheels like a few others on here have with similar setups.. Anything over that is gravy..

As far as the bracket? Any pics or info on how you extended it? Or did I miss that in the post? Thanks again

nah no pics its pretty simple.

youll see where the 2 holes are to bolt into the side of the trans then you go back about 1/4-1/2" w.e you want and cut it in half. you tack a peice of 1/4" to the back then mark out a 1/2" and take it to the plate. test fit and adjust as needed, then weld it up, paint it black.

the ecm tells the TCM what vin to have, you may need to have the dealer flash the ecm/tcm but it all depends if your truck wants to be a PITA like mine.

Alright man.. Again thanks for all the help. The 3, and it will still be in the same gear is pretty interesting.

And im sure if it can be a pita.. It will be a pita.

if you put it in D it will drive like normal, so if you want to stay in 4th gear or w.e you listen to the shifts then pull it into 3, it then holds w.e gear you are in. itll do it for every gear and will hold it till it rev limits, not saying thats what you wanna do. if you hit the track up for a "burn out" id stop the truck and pull it into 3 so it hilds 1st gear vs shifting as the rpms go up. id rather keep the truck from
shifting into other gears to save it ya know?
