Default 08 Sierra Cam Question

Just got off the phone with comp cams. I called them to get their opinion on a cam upgrade for my truck. I was told that they currently don't have any cams available for my truck because "the newer late model engines use a different core." I am new to cams and don't really understand a lot about them. But my question is do any of you know of a cam combo that work in my truck. The engine is a 5.3 flex fuel with displacement on demand. The engine is stock expect for a p1sc procharger running 8-9lbs, 42lb injectors and a boost a pump. Sorry if this is a newbie question but I was under the impression that there were cams available for my truck.

I've got VVT and have purchased 2 cams from Mast Motorsports. I know they have the new style cams.

Good luck

The first one needed a 3000 stall and was to big for the TVS I just installed. I haven't run the new one yet. The old one was very powerful on top over 400RWHP with bolt on's. They have great customer service too
