Default 07 Avalanche Sunroof leaks

I got in my new/used avalanche and when I make turns a little drop of water forms by my overhead console. Where the lights and on-star stuff are, it there a little pan area for the sunroof drain there that might be clogged? Anyone else have this problem?

Don't open your sunroof in the rain.

Do a visual check of the weather strip with it open and closed. Look for any deformation. Most times the glass needs to be aligned. This is a involved job. May require removal of the headliner. Although the Avalanche is easier because you can remove the headliner out the back with the window removed.

Hey dont know if you have resolved the problem yet but I have seen it several times. The sun roof is not designed to seal out water there is a tray between the headliner and the roof of the vehicle water runs in around window hits the tray and drains via draintubes running down the front "A" post in front of the door and draining under the truck. Open sunroof find tray and locate drain tubes use compressed air to unclog there should be at least two of them. Im very confident this is ur problem I have seen it several times hope this helps
