Default 07 2500 no throttle control

07 Hummer H2 no throttle control

This is basicley a Chevy 2500 w/ LQ4.

I just backed the H2 up a little I think it was idel throttle to back up just after putting in gear an letting off brake.

Throttle was working fine a few weeks ago.Now I don’t have throttleedit I don't drive this vehical much so I dissconnect the battery usaley I dissconnect the positive but this time I dissconnected the negative.

doe's this sound like I need to relearn the throttle position sensor? if yes a video or the procedure would be a big help

please advise

I don’t drive this vehical much at all an always completely disconnect the battery an place on a solar trickle charger.

Sometimes I just disconnect the positive then reconnect when I want to move vehical, I just move it around the backyard. I have driven it on the road just to see how she drives, but haven't register it plan to when I relocate to differnt State.

This time I only disconnected the negative the positive was left connected.

could the batterys negative being dissconnected have confussed the computer? thanks

It doesnt get confused.
If something with the pedal, Tac module, throttle body, or PCM isnt happy the pedal wont work.
So have to start looking for the problem.

A scanner will be your only friend here.

I dont think that bluetooth dongle will be able to read the TPS/APP voltages.

It does. Doesn't show it as "voltage", as such; butt does show it as a "percentage". Can't recall whether it can show gas pedal position butt I kinda think it can; again, in %.

No. Either the ECM gets power or it doesn't. Doesn't care, doesn't know, can't even tell, which cable was disconnected.

I doubt that one would give you nice live data.

Ive never used those type of scanners.
I use my laptop or an Autel
