Default Abs???

I was driving down the highway earlier and while cruising along my ABS light came on, it would ding at me three or four times, then the light would go off and come back on 15 seconds or so later and did this repeadedly 5 times and then went away and Ive turned the truck off and driven 20 or so more miles since and now its staying off. What might cause this issue?
Thanks
Ryan

Could be a broken wire/loose connection on the abs sensors. Had any work done lately on the brakes?

Realistically it's probablly going to be your ABS sensor in one of the frotn wheel Hub & Bearng Units, or the worst case scenario would be the ABS Valve/ Module, under the drivers side frame rail. I replace several of both of the afore mentioned units.

You can check the front ABS sensors with a scan toll and see which one is dropping out. But testing the ABS Module & Valve is a totally diffrent beast all together.

Ok cool, I'll have someone scan it for me. I havnt had any brake work done in a very long time so the sensor on the hub going bad sounds like a possiblity to me.
