you asked for it

so far in 3 weeks i have this done. nitrous, droped the rear 3", droped the front 1.5", removed some weight, wired in the wideband, efans, big radiator, cold tstat.

in the next week or so i want to get my old inline fuelpump put in and figure out where to mount some gauges. also get set up for programing.

IF the tranny is only 3/4" diferent than the 60 and i can use my autotrack transfer case i will be bolting that stuff in right off the bat. if i have to use the HD transfercase then i have more work to do and will probably dig right in but it could take some time to complete the project.

going to run with the stock tranny, stock stall, stock 6.0 for starters and probably run the same 100shot i am running right now, upgade to a 2 stage soon after, 100dry out of the hole and a 150wet or however much i can run without detonaton at 3000rpm.

so you tell me what it will run with that set up? i am thinking a high 11's isn't out of the question and it could all come together as quickly.

high 11s with just a 6.0 and spray??? there's other guys with similar trucks with 6.0 swaps and nitrous not running that quick with bolt ons and full exhaust etc. but you could be right.

i agree it is prety optimistic but look at these numbers from prestage.

4660lbs and 340hp = 13.9
4660lbs and 540hp = 11.9

the first i know my weight and time and it spits out 340hp, that seems prety acurate to me.

the second one i added 200hp for the 6.0 and an aditional 150shot. i wont have good exhaust and the gear ratio will be much worse with the 80 and there will be a little more weight even but i will also have some tuning done, no TM, right on a/f ratio and shift points. i think the 13.9 is suffering badly from TM.

what time do you predict? anyone else have a guess?

6.0 will dyno closer to 300 with that heavy *** drive train of the 80e, plus the transfercase, to put another 150 to that and you're at 450 at the wheels, as long as you actually DO make 150 from a 150 shot dry. don't get me wrong it'll be sweet, and very fast

I believe the 80E will have a larger output shaft, there will be other issues bolting the Autotrac as well.

You'll see upper 11s if all hold together.

OK, lets start this again. Who's going to be first to 12s?, 11s? I'll give you the 10s, 9s, 8s, etc...
