Talking WooHoo! My mechanic installed a dyno!!

I go by the shop to see about getting my son's car smogged and what do I see? Rollers in the shop floor! I heard him talking to another guy and he said something about smogging cars on the rollers and I ask if it can also be used to HP dyno runs. He said he has it set up for both but he needs to learn how to use it first and to give him a couple of weeks to practice. Yippie, I'll finally know what kind of power I'm making or not making. Any guesses based on my mods in the sig?

Sweet! Now you can test all the different cat-backs as well as other bolt ons.

BTW...how is that Z06 MAF working in the long term for you?

I sold the Z06 maf! After all was said and done, it really didn't provide any performance gain. Just for ***** and giggles, I put the stock one back on and the truck seems more responsive and my mpg went up as well. I did post the my LT's went from 0 at WOT to the pos 2-3 and wouldn't come down. I think the Z06 maf leaned my truck out just like the stock descreened unit did when I tried that mod as well. I know the GMS maf works on my truck but the descreened GM ones don't.

When I do get my truck dynoed, the first thing I'm going to test is a K&N drop in filter with my UPD & ram-air set up. I've tried one off & on and my truck seems to run better with a paper filter, I don't think the hi-flow filters do a darn things except let small dirt in and get oil on the maf. Well see?!

Hahaha. Well that's good to know that it didn't really help too much in the long run. Do you plan on picking up another GMS one?
