I am slowly getting ready to swap a 5.3 into my 4.3 2003 silverado. The engine donor was an 01 silverado for the engine but the harness came from an 03 tahoe.

The big question " Is there going to be alot of differences in the engine harness from the tahoe that will reflect in issues on my 03 silverado?"

What problems do you foresee or know of. Is there any issues that I need to head off before the transplant.

I am not sure if the tahoe was 4x4 so that is one plug I will need to look at for sure the other that I know of is my truck is dbc, but If I need to go to dbw I already have the intake with the correct throtle body and pedal and harness.

But for the most part everything should be the same right, or was there pin sequence changes between the tahoe and silverado that you know of.

for those that have access to GM dealership info do the part numbers differ from tahoe to silverado with no cross reference?
