could you go down to home depo or lowes and get some wether stripping and put on the end of the window, they use it for doors and windows in houses, it should work if they have it narrow enough. getto enginering to its finnest

There was a write up on this a while back. I think whoever was "02denali" did it. He got a ford and changed his name to "One04fx4" or something like that.

I need to do that too. That wind noise is freakin loud.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------found it

here is what i have done to several ext cab's back windows to get rid of the wind noise. first i popped the window arm loose from the latch assembly>>
you can see it still touching here. i pop mine loose with a phillips head screw driver while opening the window.

then i pull it outward and have someone hold it. i drill a small hole in the base of the latch. then i drill a smaller hole in the frame of the door. enough for a screw to start.then i install a screw in the holes and tighten ever so slightly. it only takes about a 1/4 turn and then you are done.

i hope this helps. i can get some better pics if needed.

i also posted this in the tech section. i put it out here so more would see it. if this thread gets moved or deleted then go to the tech section. good luck.

I want to make sure mine doesnt do this up over 120-125 or so... I dont want it to sound like I am in a wind tunnel going down the highway... I guess I'll try replacing my weatherstripping around with new stuff since mine is now 6 yrs old
