Default Will loosing 60 lbs of Wheel Make a Noticable Difference?

What do you guys think? I have 20'' Crager SS wheels now and I'm thinking of getting 20'' forged Centerline Ultras. Is it justifiable to spend $800 to loose 60 lbs of rotational weight. What are some thoughts? Thanks

If you are talking 14 mile times, I think you will do better. My factory 20's are 80lbs per wheel/tire and my Foose wheels/tires are 85lbs. ea. and my time suffered from the difference.

Rotational is the best type of weight to lose. As you increase speed, the weight is exponentially slowing you down. You will probably get better gas mileage too.

i hear that once it starts to rotate the weight is multiplied by 4x so in your case that would be 60 x 4 = 240# of weight.

Your right, I think it means in dead weight. I will shed 60 lbs of rotational weight which is like loosing 240lbs of dead weight, such as if I took my bed lid, tailgate, hood and front bumper off. Makes sense. I'm ordering the wheels Monday morning

when i bought my truck it had chrome 22's on it. i took them off and put on some centerline 20's and it felt like i put a blower on the truck. it will make a HUGE difference.

Thats why I took off the 20s and went back to centerline 18s. The 20s were 84lbs each, the centerlines are around 60(with tires of course). The 18s are also 18x9.5 so they are a little heavier than an 8" wheel.
