will gears and tires make a difference

Im gonna have my truck dyno soon and was wanting to know if thoes made a difference?Is there any pointers i need to do to the truck to squize out better #s?

i don't think so. if you have mad mad mad mad hp numbers then maybe tires would help you stick to the roller better. but for us. no i don't think so.
