I was told that I could use a digital climate control unit in my 2003 Silverado SS. They said the connectors where the same and it would just plug right in. Stock the SSS has the two slides in the middle. But mine is damaged and I figured if I could I would switch to the digital unit the denali's and other had. Thanks

 

It is not a direct swap. There are several sensors that need to be added for the digital controller to work. It's not impossible, but it is not an easy or cheap swap over.

 

Ahh what the hell id rather bump a thread than make a new one...i made a post on this last year, and i was told the same thing as truckmann said, i just searched for awhile and i cant find the info i need, what sensors/harnesses need to be change and where do they run to?... id still like to do this swap
