Why 4.2L?

HP/TQ #'s are higher with the 4.2 as well

yea the 4.2 runs better then the 4.3 IMO

4.2L I6 is more efficient, more powerful from factory, and most of all more durable than the 4.3L v6

x3, i dont know too much about the 4.2, but i do know the 4.3 is not the most reliable motor gm's ever built thats for sure..

4.3 had its time, work well for what it was intended for. 4.2 is a better motor for sure

I recently drove an 07 trailblazer I6, compared to my 06 silverado.......the TB would spank my truck

lets see 4.2 290 hp 20mpg and can handle alot more abuse and u take the 4.3 200 hp and about the same tq and mpg and cant handle any abuse after 80,000miles if its life depended on it
