what would i have to do to go from working in the navy as an AE to working for gm? not sales really just start by working in the shop and work my way up. and go to the gm schools.

Is a AE an abriviation for Aviation Engineer or what? Just apply seems to me you have a good job background. But if you want to be a mechanic you need to be ASE certified. But you can star off in a small position. I never heard of any GM schools but they do have some training classes. I used do sales for them and I knew some of the technicians.
