Who has the better gas for Milage SHELL or EXXON

Don't have Exxons around here, but I've found that Cononco gives me better mileage than shell. By a small margin though.

I get the best mileage and least knock with Chevron gas

Yep, that was me getting the better mileage with Sunoco over Shell....still am actually.

The best thing to do would be to try a couple tanks of each to see if one shows a pattern of better mileage.

my gf's dad works for equilon(exon/texico) and says chevron has the best. i use whoever has the best price

I used to think it was BS when people would start talking about one brand of gas getting better mileage than another. But after using acetone in my gas for several weeks now and seeing what kind of diff a couple ounces of a chemical can do, I can see where one companys additive package might be better or worse than the next. If you do a little research on gasoline, you will see that the chemical makeup can vary a lot even batch to batch within the same brand. You don't really know what you are pumping into your tank even with the major brands. The bottom line is try some different stations til you find the one that seems to make your vehicle get the best mileage.

Chevron is the best for mileage that I've used and very pro-american also. Cheapest gas here @ $1.989 for Regular. Acetone is really bad for your fuel system seals and your cats' if you have them on still

quite a few people proved the acitone theory the last time i checked. i would try it but im too damn lazy to do it.

I use chevron or exxon. I wish i knew which gas station has the best gas!
