... Mix is doing a complete reconstruction on his truck. Last I heard, it was down to the frame.
Why do a frame off reconstruction on a 3 year old truck?

Did you guys trade in your rides for Dodges? :p

Neil, still around some but traded the Chevy in for a 2004 6.0 PSD 4x4 crew cab (dec. 03) Lariat. I always had ford deisel trucks in the past, even in the firehawk days. To be honest , this truck ROCKS! The ride and the power are awesome, not to mention all the extra creature comforts. You can call me SDRedHawk now..haha I hope to be E55RedHawk soon.

Oh I am still here. I just never post much though. I read the board daily and I doubt I will ever part with my truck. To much time and money invested.

Good to hear from you guys.

Brooke, make any passes in the new Ford yet? A buddy of mine also got a '04 Supercab stroke last month and is always bragging about it, (claims it lights up the tires at 60mph? ), but everytime I ask him to race he won't go. I don't care if I win or lose, I just want to see how quick it really is.

My chevy had 75,000 miles on it and was getting ragged out. It was tough to decide on a Dmax or a PSD. I think the Dmax has more potential for ET , more cubes and easier fuel system to mod. but the PSD has a few things I like as well. The deciding factor was I wanted a complete change in trucks and not just change motors and feel like I still had the same old truck. Who knows, the next may be a Chevy again.

My moded Chevy truck (run NA) was beat by one of my company trucks last year. This was a new Ext. cab 6.0 PSD 2003 Ford and he took me by 2 full lenghts, bone stock and 800 miles on the motor! I had owned a 94 and 99 Ford PSD`s in the past and this got me thinking again. Better mileage (15-18), Sun roof , More cab room and a bone stock 4x4 CC that will beat my moded 6.0 gas motor.. It was basically a no brainer.

No, have not raced yet but you know that is coming soon. Trying to decide on the right power box and a few other mods first. Second problem is learning what the stock fuel sytem can handle in HP. then I can decide my DRUG limits..hehe
