Really Slow installed a cam in his 4.8, and it really kicked his butt. He thought he dropped some valves during the spring install, so he pulled the heads. Turns out he didn't have to. Took him about 2 weeks to get it all buttoned back up. Was a good sized cam, but the dyno showed little gain. His A/F ratios was way off. Since then (spring break), he has lost interest.

if we had only turned the crank over about two hours before we did we would have seen that we didn't have to break the heads lose and we would have had that cam done in like a day instead of 2 weeks, anyways....where are MIX and HYDE, i miss those guys.

I's say they are the ones that ended up at the gay strip club in Vegas. I swear they used more in their posts than anyone else.

Hyde is still around. He just plays with Mustangs mostly now. Mix is doing a complete reconstruction on his truck. Last I heard, it was down to the frame.

Why do a frame off reconstruction on a 3 year old truck?
