where to get stand alone trans controller

I'm doing a swap to a 4l80e on my 08 silverado and I cant make the trans work without the standalone transmission controller.

I cant find a place to get something for the transmission to work please If you have any other transmission controller please tell me.

I'm in a hurry

TCI makes 1.

The HD trucks and the Vans still use the 4l80e, you should be able to wire up the 80e and use some sort of tune to control it.

on the gen4 (gmt900) HD trucks they use 6l90 not 4l80

BTW the link you sent do I have to take the TCU with its wiring harness? I have the transmission with all its wires and the tcm

Why not use the stock PCM if it will control a 4l70( your stock trans) then it should work with the 80 by just repining the plug!

that wont work My stock is a 4l60 and the 4l80 didnt come out on the gmt900 trucks Contacted nelson they said they will get back to me today with an answer.
