Default wheels go SQUEEEK

alright so when im backing up my front or rear, drivers side squeeks really bad. also, when im turning mildly or harder to the right im pretty sure it's the front wheel but could be rear squeeks. left turn or straight, nothing. i had my bearings replaced on my passenger side front for the same reason. bearing i think at least could have been something else but regardless at the mechanic it was like 600$. what could be causing this squeek in reverse and right turn??

if it sounds like a rotational squeek...check the brakes in the drivers rear(actually pull the calliper and pads. the little clips that the brake pad slides back and forth on likes to break and touch the rotor when you turn. ive had that happen on one of my friends trucks, an once on mine. if thats it, you cant buy only the clip that you need...you have to buy the whole friggen set which was around 15 bux.

It has to be the brakes. The Rear caliper/ parking brake assemblies have been problems on many 99-2004 GM trucks.

Just had some front suspension work done, picked it up and had a squeeling on the way home. Checked it and found a "brake cover" bent toward the backside of the rotor. I guess they bent it when reinstalling the control arm. Anyway, I reached behind the wheel and bent it back away from the rotor and cured it.

it doesnt really sound rotational though.... it doesnt vary in pitch or loudness at all or have a quiet spot like some rotational squeek. could be this though. i dont spend much time in reverse and thats when its loudest. i wonder why it happens in al directions in reverse and only turning right forward....werid. well as of now im in the shop with a broken drive-shaft ubolt carrier bearing thing so the squeek isnt too important...
