I drove my buddy's 5.4 Supercrew once, and when I went WOT, I thought we started to go backwards.

My truck with the 4.8 felt stronger.

I know it, my buddy has a F250 with the V10 and you would swear to God it would do 9s the way he talked about it. Got a ride from him 1 time, and from the passenger seat it was gutless didnt need to drive it. Lots of reving and very little going. It was horrible from the passenger seat.

On that note, this is a dumb question, sort of a no brainer. But a 4.8 will walk that 5.4 engine. 5.3 will disgrace it, and a 6.0 will slaughter it, would not even be a race.

Yea, I see you are rolling 33s on 20s too. That has a big factor to it, the 4.8 aint got not tq. OK so I put the pedal to the metal today on 1 of my tritron 5.4s at work and IMO its more comparable to the 5.3, but nothing to a 6.0. I give it more credit since its in such a big vehicle, so Ill put it against the 5.3.

i will say the chevy 4.8 is faster than the 5.4, go rent a ford truck , they are a complete joke, i had a rental f150 for a week while the dealer had my 4.8 truck, and fords have more power wtf??? a tuned 6.0 should keep up with a lightning, even the SC harley trucks are slow
i worked at a service shop for a couple years and drove a lot of vehicles, pretty much most everything on the roads today, and i towed for a couple years too
that kept me away from fords, look what they did to the diesels, the 7.3 was the best they had

My 03 RCSB 5.3 would easily walk a supercharged harley edition, so I don't see why a 6.0 wouldn't win against a 5.4 in comparable trucks.
