I agree with these guys... 6.0 and the 5.4 is not even a match. The 5.3 in most scenarios will still beat the 5.4.

Edmunds rated the 5.4 from 0-60 in 8.4 Seconds

I tried to find a review on the 5.3 but, the only thing I could find with actual numbers was of the 6.2....... I did find one video of a race between a stock 5.3 and 5.4

I just drove 2 fords the other day, one was a 4.6 supercab and the other a 5.4 crew cab. Both were gutless, honestly the 4.6 felt like it had more ***** than the 5.4 and thats not saying much.

Made my 4.8 RCSB feel like a damn rocketship when I drove it away. LOL.
