Default What's better than a Radix?

An LS1 swap that cost half as much! LOL

Seriously, what can be done to a truck to pick up 100-150hp without nitrous for less than $5,000? LQ9/LS1 swap with h+c and converter/tranny? Turbos?

Just stirring the pot a little and trying to get some ideas thrown out there. There is more to life than the Radix! LOL

A PROCHARGER!!!!!!!! At least mine was.

6.0 heads , cam, and all the boltons. I am sure it will make more power, but the driveability will suffer. The good part about all motor is that it has none of the donwfalls of blowers. Heat soak, belt slip, etc.
Why is this in the lounge?

While we're on the topic of "whats better" what are some of the comparable #s between the Radix and Procharger or Vortech units?

for under 5k you can built quite the stroker motor setup.....but your drivetrain might suffer.
