00 5.3 Z71, 13mpg in city with heavy traffic and lots of stop and go. 15mpg in city usually. 21mpg highway at 70mph.

Not enjoying the gas price either. And it's suppose to go above $4 a gallon in a few months.

Looks like I'll be spending more time on the motorcycle~

Come to Victoria BC for a visit....1.239 /L here...thats 4.69 a gallon.

That's if you use 87

I'm getting 16.5L/100km so thats about 14.25MPG US and 17MPG Imp.

Winter gas takes its toll up here on fuel economy.

I average about 14.8L/100 in the summer... (15.9MPG US 19.1MPG Imp.)

Oh this is 80/20 city/hwy

i bought a little toyota for 600 bucks with a rod knock, rebuilt the motor and i drive that, my truck used one full tank of 87 a week. thats 25 gallons, i drive the little car 2 weeks now on a full tank which is 9 gallons, that saves me about 200-250 a month in gas as on todays prices.

i dont mind it at all, i come home and my jeep srt8 in wax and covered in the garage sitting next to my new truck and camaro. beater for the win. im likeing it.

Im with this guy, I used to spend about 180 dollars a week commute about 500-600 miles a week and couldn't justify spending about 500 -550 dollars in Gas a month.... Yes in gas..

so my alternative honda civic i now spend about 200 dollars a month..

my blood pressure even lowered hahahaha

lol yea man isnt so peaceful driving by a gas station. funny thing is, when i save 250 a month, in 10 months, im gonna buy a turbo kit for my truck. lol to me 10 months in a toyota driving to work aint bad to come home to a turbo silverado towing a turbo camaro to the track.

My 6.0 swap actually gets better mileage than my 5.3 did. I spend $40/ DAY in gas.
