Yes you should race him. I aint sure your gonna beat him though.

 

Its the same drive train and basically the same truck. Its like saying a 05 rcsb 4.8 and a 06 rc step side 4.8 who would win. It would be a driver race come on.

 

I think you could win w/ some stock wheels on your truck. Those (20's or 22's?) weight a lot more than stock. Plus, the weight of the air ride components. But then again, your 2wd. but also, you dont have a 6.0. I say radix or sts and smoke him.

 

I put it on a scale that is tested DOT to be accurate and it was at 3985lbs without me in it in all honesty it is lighter than when it was static, leaf springs are HEAVY four link not so much, coils up front compared to bags, lighter, two comps. and a tank, pretty light, stock hangers and brackets heavy, spare tire cross member has a few pounds to it. Now how much does my buddys truck weigh, factory 20's, tow hitch, spare tire, ex cab, s.box?
