well i asked if anybody had a hypertech programmer they wanted to sell,
and i got one.

pluged it in, let it do it's thing, ready to put in a 93 oct tune, frim up the shift, set the speed limiter and take it out to set the shift points for a little fun on a sunday.

then my bubble joy got busted.

VIN NUMBER MISMATCH, SET BACK TO STOCK TUNE BEFORE TUNING ANOTHER VEHICLE.

now i remember asking did you set it back to stock so i can program mine,
and i was told YES.

now my money is sitting in somebodys pocket 2000 miles away and i have a programmer that won't do me any good


now i am glad i keep logs on I M talks and all e mail sent too and recived from when doing business, i have been through to much B.S. from doing business on e bay and learned to keep everything.

updates will happen as to the corse of a reamdy to this problem.

box was recived on 06-17-2004
here it is 06-23-2004 and no refund yet

 

Sorry to hear you had problems like that.

One thing I'll never buy used from someone I don't know is a programmer that has to be set back to stock before it can be used again. I hear of too many people getting screwed over on those things.

i went ahead and picked up a new one, when it shows up i get to play for a little while then it is back to building my new monster
