Default What shocks should I get?

Ride harshness is of no concern. I want the best handling shocks I can get. (does that mean the stiffest? or does that not necessarily lend itself to good handling?)

I have 2wd and I need some stock height shocks. I just want something to start me off before I start going deeper into anti-sway bars and stuff like that.

What should I get?

Really, Edelbrock? I'd have thought it would be some lesser known /more hardcore company. I figured Edelbrock half-assed most of its products. You're the third person that has said to get the IAS's though.

The KYB's gas-a-just I had were way better in terms of performance compared to the IAS Edelbrock's I now have.

the KYB shocks were AWESOME, i have them on my truck for about a year and a half....100% better than stock. here in the next week or so my QA1s will all be here and i'll have 12 way adjustables on all 4 corners...that's the way to do it.

The front of my truck seems too soft with the Edelbrock's. I've got IAS's in the front with KYB's in the rear, and the soft dampening is really exaggerated with this set up. Too much floating for me, although the ride is pretty comfy. I want something that hits a bump then settles really quick. I'll probably throw out some bucks for Some QA1's, at least for the front pretty soon. I need some Hotchkis sway bars to.

I feel the same way about mine too. It feels like a Caddy up front when I hit bumps. The upward travel is waaay soft. The rear feels fine though.
I may get the HALs up front..dunno
