Exclamation What Oil Dipstick Tube?

Can anybody tell me which oil dipstick tube is a "Best fit" after long tube header install? I'm on my 3rd OEM replacement, (brackets keep braking at factory spot welds) during mild reforming to allow it to bolt up to the head where the stock original one previously bolted up.

Help V1

Don't know what to tell ya. I used my original one when I put my headers in. Don't recall having to bend it up at all.

It's the darndest thing. The original one broke on the way out and the bracket that bolts it to the head snapped off of the tube. On my second GM part # one and it looks like it'll do anything but fit. And the tube ends up under the oem heater hoses and bracket.

Sounds to me like you are installing it in the wrong place.

My original dipstick also broke at the weld but that was presumably due to heat from the turbo.

In all the sets of headers I owned I never had to bend the dipstick.
