What made you mod a truck?
I was just curious. What made you want to mod a truck to go fast? Why not get something light and save the 2-3k lbs of weight? I would love a turboed RCSB, but these things are heavy. I love the room inside and under the hood. I turboed my old Camaro SS.. NOT fun at all. It was 50lbs of **** in a 5lb bag.

Overall potential for the price. I picked up my 5.3 RCSB Silverado for 20k new and only suffer a 300-600lb weight disadvantage over a Camaro/Challenge/Mustang. As you mentioned we have ample room for mods under the hood and body, and if the situation calls for it I can pop a curb, haul a load of lumber or pull a trailer.

I needed a truck every day. I wanted something fast.
I preferred a vette but I could not tow a trailer with it.
The main reason was pure stupidity. I could have bought a z06 with the money wasted on my truck. I regret it now.
