i have hd front end on my truck and i would like to have a painted grill. they look like they have the correct step down in the center section by the bumper. i'm wondering if these are for the hd front end and what they are? oem or aftermarket?

All look to be factory HD grills that have been smoothed and painted. This can be achieved by sanding the textured plastic smooth or using a build up primer or a combo of both. Same holds true for the HD bumper cap as I don't know of an aftermarket smooth paintable one. I looked for one pretty extensively when I did the HD front end swap.

Bought mine off craigslist already color matched. I like it alor better then the chrome.
