I have a pretty accurate evaluation of my MPG. I keep a written record of my mileage and heres what I have so far.

I have a 2000 GMC RCSB Z-71 with the 5.3 no cats, ultraflow bullet muffler, superchips tune on performance mode and a K&n filter and 4.10 gears.

I drive pretty much 50% highway and 50% city
I drive with a pretty soft foot most of the time.
Went to the exact gas staton, exact pump about 90% of the time.

started 2-19-04 to 10-17-04
Ran up a bill of $1,383.48
Driven 11,429 miles
Sucked down 718.772 Gallons
Total= 15.90 MPG

Best I've gotten on a tank 18.18 MPG
Worst I've gotten 14.28
I did notice when I put the K&n and the exhaust on I gained a consistant 1.5+ mpg.

The main reason I'm doing is to see what the aftermarket parts actually do especially since they all talk up how much MPG you gain.

Hope this helps
