I drive like a grandma most of the time. With a couple of full throttle blasts every tank. It must be the 4.8L

I get 19.8 mpg commuting everyday, up and I-95 to Northern VA. On full highway trips (400-800 miles) , it gets around 22mpg. I believe straight city driving nets me 16-17mpg

I guess it all depends on what kind of driving you do. I mainly do city driving. But my city is spread out, and I get to cruise at about 35-40 with relatively few stoplights. It definitely is not gigantic city driving, but it aint highway driving either. It might also be that I'm at 5,000 feet, and less air and fuel goes into the engine for a given distance of you sea level boys.
