Default What headlamps for 02 Silverado?

So the stock headlamps in my 02 Silverado are going to hell. I wanted a set with a clear lens but the 2 aftermarket sets I've gotten have been garbage. Anyone find a set with black trim that they like and seem to be decent quality? The truck is black and I'm trying to continue the theme.

I got the Spyder Automotive (SONAR- made in China) projectors. Despite the cheaper construction they've held up well for 3 years now. The high beam reflectors are pretty shitty, but the projectors are actually of decent quality and pattern.

I was actually attempting to stay away from the *Projector* look. I'm seeing them EVERYWHERE in my area. The cleaner, simple look of reflective housings fits the look I'm going for better.

BUT thanks for the input. I might have to look into them if I can't find a set of regular reflector housings.

Years ago, Sylvania made some housings with built in HID low beams. They were called Xenarc, and they looked clean & were bulletproof. I had a set for over 10 years on my half ton. When Sylvania discontinued them, another company picked up the design. Not sure of the status on that business, but I just searched google & eBay, and you can still buy XSighting Lighting headlamp assemblies brand new for GMT800 trucks & SUV's.

Not sure if that's the look you are searching for, but thought I'd mention them.

The company that picked up/was selling the Sylvania design was called brightheadlights. They've had a listing for the Sylvania X2020's for the last 7 or 8 years on their website. If you're looking to stay away from the projector look, try this light. A bit on the costly side though (if it's still available).

I bought some clear lamp housings from LMC. They seem fine and look great. I use the Sylvania Silverstar lights in them.
