Default What fuel pump for 2000 NBS Tahoe?

Justin let me know that im having fueling issues at high rpms, which i figured because my fuel pump is loud as hell and I have extended starts, as well as a few other issues. Where can I get a decent fuel pump without spending $400 for an OEM one? I dont want to replace it and have it go out a year from now on the road, but I cant spend that kind of money right now with school coming up again in the fall..Ive found a few so far..but im not sure what else is out there?

this looks to be the best bet

I would not recommend either of those fuel pumps. Your best bet is to use either a Delphi or AC Delco pump. Check out rock auto http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...&parttype=6256

bump...i need to know im buyin a pump in a few days and wanna do it right the first time..since a delco pump is 300, i can get a 255 for that price..whats the set back? ive heard you have to prime it before u start it? well i have to do that anyway with a bad pump, so that wont be an issue

I had to do some Dremel-ing on the bucket in my Silverado to make the Walbro fit. I'm not sure if the Tahoe bucket is different.

It has been in there for over a year and I have no complaints.
